Sponsor a fighter in the Deed of Alms!
Non fighters are welcome to come and watch the event.
A return to our annual in-person deed of alms. We will meet in King City, just north of Toronto to spar and fundraise in support of West Neighbourhood House. This is a friendly competition open to all wma and hema practitioners. We will be using IAS rules which you can read here. All bouts will be marshalled by one of our select marshalls.
For this event we aim to fundraise to support our community and emphasize the positive ideals of chivalry, ie, championing the weak, and fighting honourably. We will be fundraising in support of West Neighbourhood house. A large network of community support centers in Toronto that works with the underhoused, and unhoused, new comers and refugees, the elderly and kids in economic difficulty.

Note - all equipment will be inspected before you begin sparring. If we deem your gear or weapons unsafe we will not allow you to use it. Loaner gear will be provided if possible.
