One of the core experiences that fires us with enthusiasm for studying the past, is the near infinite complexity of historical martial arts. We practice Classical, Medieval and Enlightenment styles and our classes offer sparring-based training in the martial techniques of these periods. Separate weekly classes teach Enlightenment and Medieval styles in the Toronto area.  We can also recommend schools in other areas, such as, Les Maitres d'Armes In Ottawa, the Chicago Sword Play Guild, in Chicago. We can also recommend The Northwest Fencing Academy in Eugene, Oregon.  We are a member of the International Armizare Society,  a regulatory body of historical fencers.

We are currently offering classes in Medieval longsword and early modern epee at Toronto Historical Combatants at 388 Carlaw and Medieval longsword on Sundays near Queen and Bathurst (this class is by appointment only) email Christian Cameron at 1phokion@gmail.com to inquire.
